mental Health Therapist - Salem, Oregon

Shape the Future of Behavioral Health in Oregon

Insight Northwest Recovery (INR) is hiring dynamic, mission-driven therapists to help launch our new Salem location. Grounded in our work with adolescents, young adults, and families in Eugene and Springfield, INR is now bringing its trusted, trauma-informed care model to Salem. This is your chance to get in on the ground floor of something meaningful!

At INR, we specialize in treating youth and adults (ages 12+), with a focus on mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders. Our care is identity-affirming, community-centered, and deeply rooted in evidence-based practices.

As a therapist in our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), you’ll work with clients ages 12 and up, supporting them through emotional, behavioral, and substance-related challenges. You’ll lead group, individual, and family therapy sessions within a structured, empowering care model.

This position is open to both licensed and associate-level clinicians.

    • Annual Salary: $90,000–$109,999

    • Schedule: 35–40 hours/week (includes clinical sessions, documentation, staff meetings)

    • Insurance: 100% employer-covered health, dental, and vision

    • Professional Liability Insurance: Covered

    • PTO: 224 hours annually

    • Continuing Education: $550 annual stipend

    • Retirement Plan Options and flexible scheduling (based on eligibility)

    • Conduct comprehensive assessments for youth, young adults, or adult clients

    • Develop and implement trauma-informed treatment plans

    • Lead therapeutic groups and provide individual and family therapy

    • Maintain clear, timely documentation in alignment with clinical standards

    • Collaborate in case reviews and receive regular clinical supervision

    • Coordinate care during crises and link clients with community resources

    • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field

    • Active Oregon associate registration or license (LPC, LMFT, LCSW)

    • Experience working with adolescents and/or young adults

    • Strong group facilitation and interpersonal skills

    • Organized, adaptable, and ready to build something new

    • Committed to culturally responsive, equity-driven care
